The Red Engines by RiverStationStudios The Red Engines by RiverStationStudios
Here is my take on the two Red Engines as appeared in the First Book of the Railway Series.

The First Red Engine: This engine was first seen in the sheds with Edward, Gordon, 98462, 87546 and a Green Engine (because me and :iconokamitakahashi: believe that it's a different engine to Henry, which will be explained in another deviant) and was said to be a bully to Edward along with the other four. This character never seen again, although it's possible it might still be on Sodor. I then decided to give it a basis and I called her "Bronwyn". She's based on LNWR Whale Experiment Class (I know it says, the Engine is a 4-6-2, but there's no such engine with no outside cylinder, plus its not shown in the picture). I am very pleased with how Bronwyn turned out, and I hope to use her in a future story.

The Second Red Engine: I know, I know, he's said to be the same basis as James, but according to Sir Topham Hatt on Twitter, it was a art error, and claimed its a Midland Railway Johnson 0-6-0, so me and :iconokamitakahashi: are rolling with that: I named this engine "Hughes" before I used him as a L&YR Class 25, but I decided to name him that as a joke and I love the name. :) He is also said to be working on the Kirk Ronan branch line, and he has a different livery though, as its in Midland Red. :)

I like your choice for the first red engine, LNWR inside cylinder 4-6-0 were abundant, hundreds were made.  So it feels highly probable that the NWR could easily purchase one from the LNWR.  Great choice!

The real 43760 was built by Neilson & Co. on August 31st, 1902 and was withdrawn on March 13th, 1962. It was scrapped at Derby Works on April 30th, 1962.

I see the First Red Engine as an A2. LNER A2 that is.

Nice. Even with the island's size, it would make sense to have at least two top-link express engines.

Well if you checked out me and Rockyrailroad578's idea, (he has posting about it) and go to the comments we've been making a backstory for her. (She is now part of a museum)
